How do I contact Acadian Ambulance customer service?

What is Acadian care?

Acadian Care is now part of the Access Health Louisiana (AHL) Network. Acadian Care offers high quality Behavioral Health services from a team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), therapists and counselors.

What can I do with the patient portal?

With the patient portal, you can view select test results, access your medical records and track your health information. To enroll in the patient portal, you must receive services at one of our locations.

What services does AHL offer Acadian care?

AHL also operates its own pharmacy and will be able to offer Acadian Care patients prescription assistance programs, discounted medications through the federal 340B program, as well as free home delivery of medications. AHL locations accept most commercial insurances, Medicaid, Medicare and uninsured patients are welcome.

What is the lab department at Acadian Medical Center?

The Laboratory Department at the new Acadian Medical Center provides laboratory services for both inpatients and outpatients. Under the direction of a board- certified Pathologist, the Laboratory is in operation for 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

What are the specialty areas of Acadian Medical Center?

The Surgeons of Acadian Medical Center represent specialties such as: General Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Cardiology, Urology, Podiatry, Endoscopy (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, & Stretta), and Anesthesiology. AMC provides the latest procedures with top-of-the-line technology and equipment.

What time does the ICU open?

ICU visiting hours are at: 10 am, 1 pm, 5 pm and 8 pm. Visits are limited to 30 minutes. Two family members are allowed in at a time. No children under the age of 12 are allowed except at the charge nurses discretion.

Is Acadian Care part of Access Health?

Acadian Care is now part of the Access Health Louisiana (AHL) Network. Acadian Care offers high quality Behavioral Health services from a team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), therapists and counselors. These experienced providers offer patients extended treatment options for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), autism, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and a number of other psychological disorders. Telemedicine visits are also available. Acadian Care’s name will not change and patients of Acadian Care will continue to see their same providers. Psychiatrist and founder of Acadian Care, Dr. Richard Kutner, will join the AHL provider team.

How to enroll in the patient portal?

To enroll in the patient portal, you must receive services at one of our locations. To create an account, you may self-enroll here. Alternatively, you may contact the location where you received care and tell them you would like to make an account. Registration requires an email and a valid ID.

How are messages sent to your provider's office transferred?

All messages sent to your provider’s office are transferred via a secure server compliant with HIPAA standards.

Can you access read only medical records?

At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records. Due to the sensitive nature of radiology and pathology test results, these are not available on the patient portal and must be obtained through the hospital’s Health Information Department.

Is RWJBarnabas Health a centralized portal?

RWJBarnabas Health is in the process transitioning all of our hospitals to a centralized patient portal called MyChart where all hospitals’ records will eventually be contained within one system for your convenience. Please be assured that you will always have access to your medical records.
