Arthritis & Osteoporosis Consultants of the Carolinas (AOCC) was founded in 2000 when Drs. Ahmad Kashif and Gary Maniloff working at the Nalle Clinic and Drs. Robert Kipnis and Andrew Laster of Presbyterian Healthcare Associates joined to establish an independent rheumatology practice.

How do I make sure I am receiving patient portal emails?
To ensure that you are receiving Patient Portal emails please do the following: Add NextMD.com to your contact list, address list, safe list, or "Do Not Block" list. Account will be locked for 20 minutes after 4 failed login attempts. Please remember that password is case sensitive.
Do you have to have a photo ID to check in at a hospital?
New patients will be asked to fill out some paperwork and present a photo ID and insurance card (s) and to our check-in staff; co-pays are also due upon check-in. Once the check-in process is complete all that’s left is to have a seat and wait for the nurse to call you back.
Does Genentech have access to care?
Genentech Access To Care Foundation, a patient assistance program provided by Genentech, Inc., offers the medications listed to the right at no cost to those who are eligible for the program.
