Is Crenshaw Community Hospital open to visitors?
Due to the rise of COVID-19 cases in Crenshaw County, Crenshaw Community Hospital is implementing a no visitor policy, effective immediately. A one visitor exception can be made to the policy after consultation with the patients attending physician, unit nursing staff and leadership. Some exceptions to the policy include, but are not limited to end of life, patients with disabilities who having someone with them is essential to their care, and one parent of a child. Any visitor allowed due to an exception must enter the hospital through the Emergency Room. All visitors are required to wear a face mask and will receive a COVID-19 screening and temperature check prior to entrance. Visitors that do not pass the screening process will not be allowed into the building.
