Can you reschedule a DTC appointment?
DTC will make its best effort to keep your new patient appointment on time. For this reason, if you arrive after your scheduled appointment time or at your scheduled appointment time without your necessary paperwork completed, you may be asked to reschedule.
Is a physician to physician referral required by DTC?
This physician to physician referral is not an insurance referral, and is required by DTC regardless of your insurance. Please note, if you have been seen by a DTC physician before, you will be scheduled with the same physician that you have historically seen. DTC does not transfer patients within practice across physicians.

What is Castle Pines Urgent Care?
Castle Pines Urgent Care and Family Practice is a full-service private practice serving the on-going healthcare needs and the after hour/weekend/urgent care needs of the Castle Pines community. Our goal is to provide the citizens of Castle Pines and the surrounding area with the highest quality care for their medical needs in a friendly and relaxed environment. We believe that the best care is patient-driven care. That means allowing patients to make their own decisions about the direction their care should take. To do that, we provide a comfortable place where patients can discuss their health care needs with their provider and work together to make the best possible decisions. As physicians, we seek to guide people and to help them navigate their unique individual road to health. There are many avenues to each person’s apex of health. Together we use all aspects of medicine that are available to figure out how to achieve that goal for each individual.
Where did Heather join DTC?
Heather graduated from the University of Arizona and continued her dietetic specialty at the University of Houston becoming a Registered Dietician in 2002. She began her career at the Colorado Center for Weight Management in Lakewood and helped open another office in Lone Tree. In 2008, Heather went into private practice where she has been ever since. Heather Joined DTC Family Health in 2013 and is happy to call it home.
When did Megan join DTC?
Megan graduated from Midwestern University with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2011. She joined DTC Family Health in 2019 as a Physician Assistant with 8 years of prior patient care experience.
