What if my problems cannot be handled by the Virtual Visit?

We will make every effort to treat you during the virtual visit, but there may be times where a face-to-face visit is required for accurate diagnosis and treatment. So during your virtual visit, you may be directed to schedule an appointment to be seen at our offices.

Can you have a sick visit and a follow up visit?

Visits can be for both acute (“sick”) visits and also for follow-up visits for various conditions.

Is FPCA compatible with Edge?

Chrome or Safari are required for personal computers and Android devices. FPCA Virtual Visit is NOT compatible with Internet Explorer or Edge.

Can you prescribe narcotics on a virtual visit?

If indicated, your provider will be able to prescribe medication that will be recorded in your chart. We will not be able to prescribe controlled drugs such as narcotics (Percocet, Vicodin etc.) nor sedative medications such as valium, lorazepam, Xanax, etc. If you are on a controlled drug on a regular basis, a virtual visit may be appropriate for some follow-up visits, if your provider is comfortable with this.

How old do you have to be to communicate with FPC?

Parents/guardians may communicate with FPC providers and staff as you always have until your child reaches age 18.

Can a parent/guardian be a portal authorized representative?

For this reason, we find it necessary to ask our patients in this age group to complete a consent form naming a parent/guardian as their portal authorized representative. Without this consent from the minor patient, we will not be able to give parents/guardians access to the minor's portal. (Click the link below to access the form.)
