How do I Reset my login to my Patient Portal?

Please note, if you are requesting a login reset for your patient portal, activation codes are mailed to you through USPS. If you would like access to your portal earlier please call the office directly to receive your login name or proceed with resetting your account and obtaining a new activation code.

What is PA GI?

The physicians of Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants (PA GI) will maintain an ongoing record of all of your visits with documentation of your symptoms, physical examination, test results, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This information is your electronic health record (EHR). It serves as the basis for planning and communication of your care within PA GI and with other health professionals of your choice. Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants and Digestive Disease Institute have been on the forefront of EHR use since 2005. We continue to advance the effectiveness of our EHR, consistent with the latest federal government recommendations for improving patient care and safety.#N#Your health record is the property of Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants; however, you have certain rights to your health record. You may request a printed copy of your Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) form. In compliance with HIPAA, you may request a copy of your health information at no charge. You may request that we amend your health information, request an accounting of disclosure, make communication directives, and revoke disclosure authorizations for disclosure of health information. Preparing For Your Appointment

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to provide information about your medical history and your condition.

Direct Access Colonoscopy

In an effort to make the scheduling of screening colonoscopies easier for patients, PA GI has a direct access program. In some cases, patients may be allowed to schedule a screening colonoscopy without a primary physician referral, based on insurance, medical history and at the discretion of PA GI.

Appointment Cancellations

If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, please call the office 24 hours before the appointment. If you do not show for a scheduled office appointment, you will be billed $25.00 for the missed appointment. If you do not show for a scheduled procedure (EGD, colonoscopy), you will be billed $50.00 for the missed procedure.

From Harrisburg

From north Harrisburg, take Front Street to the Harvey Taylor Bridge. From south Harrisburg, take Second Street to the Harvey Taylor Bridge. Otherwise, take Forster Street west toward the Harvey Taylor Bridge. Cross the Harvey Taylor Bridge. At the second light, make a right onto Poplar Church Road (North 21st Street).

From Carlisle and Western Cumberland County

Take Route 81 North to Wertzville Road exit. Make a right onto Wertzville Road. Look for East Penn Drive. Continue about 1 1/2 miles until the road ends at Poplar Church Road. Make a left turn and immediately turn left into our entrance.

From South of Harrisburg

Take Route 83 North to the 83 - 581 split. Stay left for Route 581 West. Take Route 581 West until the Route 15 (Camp Hill) exit (first exit), or take Route 15 North and cross over Route 83.

When will UPMC Central PA portal be renamed?

As of May 24, 2021 MyPinnacleHealth has been renamed to the UPMC Central PA Portal. All username, passwords, and functionality remains the same.
