Sylvie was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and Congenital Pseudarthrosis of the Tibia (CPT). Despite her parents efforts to seek treatment, she fractured her tibia standing still in the bathtub just three weeks after her first birthday.
