Do UAB students have access to medical office visits?

All currently enrolled UAB undergraduate and graduate students have access to medical office visits, evaluation and development of a treatment plan at no additional out of pocket cost beyond the payment of regular UAB tuition.

What is the phone number for UAB?

If the Student Health & Wellness Center is closed, visit the nearest Emergency Department, or call UAB Police Department (205-934-3535) to be directed to the appropriate resources. Where are UAB athletic trainers?

Two Athletic Trainers are housed on the lower level of UAB Campus Recreation and sports medicine visit s are available during normal business hours. To schedule an appointment, please visit the Campus Recreation Training Room for assistance.

If none are available on the portal, call Student Health Services (SHS) at (205) 934-3580 to speak with a staff member and schedule a Same-Day appointment.
