We are available to help you by phone or email. Disclaimer: You can now access your health records through a 3rd party application from a phone or tablet. If you have any UHS MyChart portal questions or 3rd party application questions, please call (607) 584-4004, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

How do I create a UHS Portal account?

For all others: You must be registered as a patient in the UHS electronic health record (MiChart) in order to create a portal account. If you plan to visit UHS in person, or if you recently visited: Follow instructions printed for you at check-out.

How do I sign up for the UofM patient portal?

Get your medical record number (MRN) and activation code by calling the Patient Portal Help Desk at 734-615-0872 (7:30 am - 4 pm). Then create your account at MyUofMHealth.org by clicking the blue "Sign Up Now" button If you forgot your username or password, go to MyUofMHealth.org and click the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? links.

What is proxy access in UHS?

One of the features of MyChart is Proxy Access. Obtaining access to another persons’ UHS MyChart account that is NOT their own is called Proxy Access.

Does UHS have a MyChart?

UHS is excited to offer you the enhanced MyChart patient portal experience to better manage your health! Please note, your UHS medical information for approximately the past 3 years only will be in your MyChart account. If you have questions about your prior medical history, please talk with your provider.

What to do when UHS is closed?

In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. For urgent concerns when UHS is closed, you may wish to: Call for nurse advice, day or night. Go to a local urgent care - see Emergency / After-hours for options (any costs would be your responsibility)

How long after exposure to UHS can you get tested?

You have the option to get tested 5-7 days after exposure through UHS.

What to do in case of emergency?

Can you request a test for quarantine?

If you are quarantining privately, you can request a test through processes listed above.

Does UHS cover out of pocket costs?

For currently enrolled students and UHS Prepaid members, you will have no out-of-pocket costs. Your insurance will be billed for COVID-19 testing and any remaining balance will be covered by UHS.
