How does a patient portal work?
With a patient portal, you can:
- Make appointments (non-urgent)
- Request referrals
- Refill prescriptions
- Check benefits
- Update insurance or contact information
- Make payments to your provider's office
- Complete forms
- Ask questions through secure e-mail
Do you have a patient portal?

How to access the MyHealth patient portal?
The my health patient portal is free and available to all patients. There are two ways to sign up. Online. Go to Self-Enrollment, and complete the form to verify your account. Online enrollment is available to patients 18 and older. You will need either: Your Medical Record Number, or MRN, from your most recent discharge instructions.
What to do if you have issues logging into your patient portal?
If you’re having issues logging into your patient portal, please contact your medical provider’s office for support.
Can you use a portal locator on a patient portal?
Yes. Using the portal locator doesn’t affect your ability to use other URLs to log in to your patient portal.
What is the Ascension Providence program?
The Ascension Providence Nurse Residency was created for our nurses and is designed to innovate, inspire, and empower as you begin your career with us! The first three months of our 12-month program consists of academic learning and skills development combined with precepted shifts. During this time, focus is placed on honing clinical practice, evidence-based decision making, and leadership skills, while also gaining experience in procedural areas associated with their assigned units. The following nine months consist of monthly academic courses and foundation building. We also have Career Coaching and Specialty Pathways available to our new grads.

The Ascension Seton RN Residency is an Accredited with Distinction, 12-month program that consists of three months of academic learning and skills development combined with precepted shifts. The following nine months will consist of monthly academic courses and foundation building.

The only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in Central Texas, and one of only five in the state. We are also a pediatric, tertiary care teaching hospital with a Level IV NICU and Level IV ED.
