Who is the director of PFC?
PFC's clinical laboratory director, Dr. Joseph Conaghan, is internationally recognized for his decades of work in human embryology. He and his team of extensively trained, certified embryologists are devoted to leading this field in research and new technology.
What is the patient-doctor relationship?
The patient-doctor relationship is central to our success at PFC. We value the trust and confidence that develops over time between doctor and patient and understand the need for consistency. Our scheduling process allows each patient's doctor to be available to them for consultations and procedure appointments.
Is fertility treatment confidential?
Fertility treatment is highly sensitive, and our patient's privacy is our priority. All communication involving patient care is stored electronically and handled in a strictly confidential manner. Security settings
When you log in to the portal for the first time post-upgrade you will be asked to (1) set a new password and (2) designate some security questions which can be used in the future to reset your password.
Update notifications
Depending on the way your account is set up, you may also be asked to designate a mobile number to receive text and/or voice notifications when an update is made to your portal. PFC has not yet implemented this feature, but we are planning to roll this out in the near future.
Portal navigation
The primary change in the new patient portal is that the consents, letters, patient instructions and lab orders have all been collected into the "Documents" section. There are new "My IVF" applets at the bottom of the home page which offer selected articles and promotions such as Starbucks gift cards for participating in online surveys concerning your IVF experience..

How does the mind body fertility program help with infertility?
The Mind/Body Fertility Program is taught by Carol Knoph and helps patients: Reduce stress through a variety of relaxation methods. Decrease isolation surrounding infertility.
What is a fertility class?
Classes are designed for women who are currently trying to conceive. Women using assisted reproductive technology are welcome at all phases of their fertility program. In a Harvard-based study, women participating in yoga and relaxation classes increased their chances of pregnancy by almost 3 times. The Yoga for Fertility class environment is small and supportive, and all levels of yoga experience are welcomed
