The Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute (DDCI) offers you secure, online access to oncology healthcare information anytime and anywhere.

Getting Started

Accessing the Phelps Health DDCI Patient Portal is easy and secure. You will receive a printout from the oncology staff with directions on how to sign in to the Patient Portal. To login for the first time, follow these instructions:

We take great care to ensure that your health information is safe and private, and we encourage you to keep your Patient Portal username and password safe. The Phelps Health DDCI Patient Portal is fully compliant with federal and state law related to the privacy of healthcare information.

What if I need help accessing my electronic health records?

Please notify the Health Information Management Team at 308.995.3271. They are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

How do I change my personal information?

If you notice an error in your personal information, such as address and phone number, please send us a change request through the portal. The change request can be found by clicking Profile, then Update Profile.

Can I see my family's electronic health records?

Yes, this is called Proxy Access. For a child under legal age, this allows a parent or legal guardian to log into their personal Phelps Memorial account, and then view information regarding their child. It is also possible to request access to another adult's health record if you help manage that adult's medical care. For more information, please contact the Team at 308.995.3271. In order to ensure the safety of our patient's information, this form must be presented in person to our Health Information Management department so identity can be verified.

Is my information secure?

We take great care to ensure your electronic health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through personal IDs and passwords. Phelps Memorial uses the latest encryption technology. All messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.

Medical records

As a patient, you have the right to access your medical records. Copies of medical records are available to patients and physicians with the proper authorization. Our Health Information Management Office can help—call (914) 366-3060.

Support services

Phelps provides free interpreting services for patients who require assistance communicating. Notify your nurse if you need an interpreter.

Patient satisfaction

Offering you the best possible health care is our top priority. To determine where improvements are needed, we participate in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, a standardized tool for measuring and reporting satisfaction across all hospitals in the U.S.

Billing & insurance

Your hospital bill covers the cost of your room, meals, 24-hour nursing care, laboratory work, tests, medication, therapy and the services of hospital employees. You will receive a separate bill from your physicians for their professional services.
